A.B. Birthing Mother
For the birth of our first child I had really wanted to go all natural. I had read a ton, prepared the best I could, took classes, my husband and I practiced together exercises, etc. but without the help and support we really needed while I was in labor, I ended up with an epidural and the vacuum and forceps on my baby.
For the birth of our second child we enlisted the help of a fabulous doula, Morgan Hagey. What she did to help my husband, the baby, and I was an incredible blessing. She was there when we needed her and was able to answer questions, communicate with the nurses when we needed her too. My husband was able to never leave my side and do nothing but encourage me, while Morgan would offer suggestions on what might work for my body to it's job best at the moment. I was able to successfully deliver our child all natural and after having both experiences, I will NEVER do another birth out Morgan or with an epidural again. For us having the experience and help of such a great doula made all the difference. My body was able to do what it needed to do and my husband was able to support me the way I needed and wanted him to. All in all I loved giving birth naturally and I loved having the support of a great doula to help.

My husband and I were so grateful to have found Morgan to be our doula. During the course of my pregnancy she truly became a friend, but by the time my son was born it was as if she were family. Morgan is so dedicated to what she does and extremely knowledgeable. She was always able to answer any questions I had and reassured me anytime I needed it. She also always included my husband which made him feel more comfortable and confident in the birthing process.
She is amazing doing what she does with three kids and a husband of her own, you can tell that she truly loves what she does.
We are so sad she is moving to Utah and will not be able to be our doula next go around;)
