This means you can have prenatal, postpartum and continuous labor support for you both as you bring your new baby into the world. You can have the birth you want, whether that is with low interventions at home or in a hospital, or a medicated birth. It's your choice, and a doula is a certified professional who can help you get there, through emotional, informational and physical support.
Doulas are also trained to help mom and baby get off to the best start with breastfeeding instruction and support.
